Avionics Airfield Lighting recognised for work on Norfolk Island Airport - Corporate Project of the Year

Lighting specialists Avionics Airfield Lighting has won the Corporate Project of the Year Award – Small Regional Airport/Aerodrome at the Australian Airport Association’s (AAA) virtual National Airport Industry Awards 2021.

Avionics Airfield Lighting Mr Blake Hulbert said the “Norfolk Island project was a pleasure to be apart of and even more special to share the award with the team at Boral. A very special thanks to the Norfolk Island community, it is a great place to work, and Avionics look forward to supporting the airport for many years to come.”

AAA Chief Executive James Goodwin said Avionics Airfield Lighting has strived to make a difference throughout the pandemic.

“Despite navigating the most difficult period the sector has faced in living memory, Avionics Airfield Lighting has taken the challenges in its stride and continued to adapt and innovate, finding new ways of doing things, forging ahead providing products airports to deliver major infrastructure projects, diversifying its business and developing new partnerships,” Mr Goodwin said.
