AV107L – Elevated Runway Before Displaced Threshold Light
If part of a runway located before a displaced threshold is available for aircraft use, runway edge lights in that part of the runway must show red in the direction of approach to the displaced threshold and in the opposite direction, show white.
Avionics AV107L was designed to provide average luminous intensity of 51.4 Cd for red and 136.7 Cd for white coloured beam with the light distribution similar to the runway edge light.
AV107L meets CASA MOS 139 requirements at 2.4W of power thanks to superior LED chip and special “flare” secondary optical lens which oprimally distributes the light beam.
