AV102L – Elevated Runway End Light
Positioned perpendicular to the runway centreline along the end of the active runway, these runway threshold lights are unidirectional red.
Avionics AV102L is designed to ensure the luminous intensity output ratio is between 0.25 and 0.5x when compared to the runway edge light.
AV102L meets CASA MOS 139 requirements at 1.2W of power, thanks to superior highpower LED chip and special secondary optical lens, that directs the light from the LED into elliptical shape-form to achieve the light beam of optimal performance between -19° to +19° horizontal.
