Sydney Airport – DOM2/3 Upgrade

Taxilane DOM2 and Taxilane DOM 3 are critical pavements servicing many of the Domestic Terminal aircraft parking aprons. These pavements are understrength and are subject to pavement failures such as rutting. Sydney Airport intends to carry out the pavement strengthening of Taxilane DOM2 and Taxilane DOM3 and their associated apron lead-in pavements. Additionally, either asphalt resurfacing works, or bituminous surface treatment works are planned in areas not impacted by pavement strengthening. Included in this Project is the removal and reinstatement of existing Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) infrastructure to facilitate the pavement strengthening works.
